Božično-novoletni prazniki so za nami in s tem tudi pokanje petard in raket konec za nekaj časa. Bela se na srečo pokanja ne boji, te sreča pa nimata Lumpi in Dona, ki sta v teh dneh prestrašena in nesproščena. Težavo rešujemo z naravnimi tableti iz mešanice baldrijana in navadne čeladnice (Dorwest veterinary). Lahko povem, da je ob jemanju tabletk odziv na pokanje veliko boljši, še posebaj Lumpi se sicer po nekaj dneh jemanja vede nekoliko odsotno, vendar pa vsaj ni tako prestrašen in boječ.
ENG: The new year holidays are over and also the cracking of the fireworks is over for a year. We are happy that Bela is not afraid of cracking so we had a peaceful new years eve. Dona and Lumpi are a bit more afraid of the fireworks so they get special natural valerian medicine (Dorwest veterinary) to stay calm.
Dan pred Božičem smo obiskali kuže in muce v zavetišču za zapuščene živali v Gmajnicah ter jim prinesli brikete. Ko korakaš po zavetišču in gledaš vse te učke, ki te proseče opazujejo in želijo le trenutek tvoje pozornosti, tople roke, mirnega glasu.. se ti v očeh naberejo solze. Najrajši bi vzela prav vsakega, ga stisnila k sebi v naročje.. a vendarle ne moreš imeti vseh… Pa si prav vsak zasluži topel dom, z ljubečimi lastniki!
ENG: A day before Christmas we visited the animal shelter in Gmajnice. We brought them also a Christmas present – a big bag of do food : ) When you watch all these dogs with no owners you would we like to take all of them to our home, but that is unfortunately not realistic. Every single animal there deserves a responsible owner!

Kot se spodobi smo Božič praznovali v družinskem krogu v katerega seveda spadajo tudi naši kužki na katere ni pozabil niti Božiček. 😉 Prav za vse tri je prinesel prikupna darila, ki jih je zavil skupaj z posladki, tako je bilo odpiranje daril za Lumpija, Dono in Belo še slajše! 😀

Kljub deževnemu vremenu pa se potepamo tudi po okoliških travnikih. Medtem ko je Bela presrečna, da lahko skače in čofota po vsaki luži, ki jo najde, se Lumpi in Dona spretno izogibata lužam, nekoliko manj uspešno pa razigrani Beli, in nakoncu smo vsi premočeni do vrha glave ;D ..upajmo, da bo neprijeten dež kmalu nadomestil sneg.. 😉
ENG: Although here is stil no real winter with snow, we spent a lot of time on the surrounding meadows with our dogs. Lupi and Dona know how to avoid mud puddles, but Bela is the total opposite. The more she is dirty and muddy the more she is happy. We hope that the snow will replace the mud soon!
