A poodle crew spent the weekend at Slovenian Nationals 2026! Zoomie & Alf competing, Ruby gaining experience, making memories, and sharing kisses.
And what a way to finish the weekend — Alf is the new National Winner in A1 Small!
My agility rent-a-dog exceeded all expectations! It was only his second weekend competing in A1, a weekend full of firsts for him, his first time running indoors, first time running open courses and his very first Nationals! But he handled like always, happy and cheerful! So proud on this boy! Proud to be his breeder.
Although no podium for Zoomie, she had four great runs, finishing twice in 4th place, with two close disqs both my fault. I’m super proud of her, she’s getting better and better, and honestly, she deserves a better handler. So, sorry, Zoomie!
On Saturday Zoomie & Alf were running teams together with another poodle girl Sidney & Hana and finishing on 5th place.
Thank you to Elpida Ismael for the fun, flowy courses, our club Kd Agility Ilirija for the organization, and a very special thanks to Marko & Ester for letting me borrow Alf and run with him!
