First few days are always challenging with newborn puppies. You never know what might happen… Will they drink nicely, gain weight? Will mummy take care of her puppies or will you need to help her?
We are definitely lucky breeders! We were so afraid of what will happen after C-section… Will DiDi accept puppies, will she have milk? But once again our girls showed us how amazing mums they are! DiDi accepted twins right away and continued the tradition of her granny Bela and mother Alfa. She is such a caring mum, being with her adorable twins all the time. First two days were impossible to make her go out and take a break even for a toilet. But I guess she also feels better now and she went for a short walk today.
And the twins are happily eating and peacefully sleeping all day long. What a life!
